I have no reaches, matches, or safties...time is running out

I need some schools that I have a chance at but I don't know where to look. I've bought some books but they're not so helpful and my stats aren't helping either. I have a 3.0 gpa(i've only had 2 honors not ap's), 20 act, and no ec's. I'm planning to major in economics (maybe double major or minor in finance, math, or philosophy) . I'm hispanic and although i don't like to have a curve set for me because of my race I know that it affects some of my application. since my sophmore year I thik i've had a's or b's maybe a couple of c's but what messed up my gpa was my freshman year, if that matters. I would like a school in either Florida (where i live) or somewhere near connecticut or new york, maybe mass. Good surrounding is also a plus (location, how the campus looks)

1) Are there any schools that fit me?
2) What are my chances of getting into a good school now and transferring to a better school in the near future?

Thanks in Advance.

You have no reaches, matches, or safeties?? Then stop writing in these threads and start looking, 'cause as u said, time is running out.

Try the Counselor-o-Matic on the Princeton Review's website, it may give you some ideas.

Try a public florida school...20 act is pretty low for most schools people on here have any idea about

Definetly Princeton Review. Or College Board to find schools that are withinh your ACT Range.

By the way,,, HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

times a' wastin.

Thanks for the replies and I am searching for colleges not just browsing these forums but I thought someone could have helped me out. I will try princeton review but Iheard it was somewhat flaw. Thanks for the responses.

Look at the Jacksonville area: Jacksonville University (private) and University of North Florida (public). You are within their accepted range, and the area has a lot to offer.

Florida State?
