I am an Engineering major I wanted to take Introduction to Microeconomics but my school won’t allow me to take any other general courses. They says I have taken enough credit hours from social perspective. That’s out of the question. Any alternatives? Any sites for me to learn those principles? I’m starting to regret my decision on taking the other courses.
Would taking this economics course squeeze some required course out of your schedule? If so, then it is understandable that your school wants you to focus on your required courses before electives.
Your other posts indicate that you are a new frosh in civil engineering at Buffalo. The four year plan is at http://engineering.buffalo.edu/home/academics/undergrad/advisement/flowsheets.html?plan=CIE-2017 . It looks like your social studies and humanities courses would fit into the slots labeled “thematic or global pathway course”, as described at http://engineering.buffalo.edu/home/academics/undergrad/advisement/pathways.html . The introductory economics courses would be in a pathway called “business, economy, and society”.
