I just came back from the Bio SAT...

and I think I did pretty badly, which is strange considering I'm taking AP Bio and I have a pretty strong average. Plus, when taking practice AP tests, I did fairly well. I just don't understand what happened. I didn't really like the way they worded some of the questions, and I think a part of the problem was the it was too general. I know a bunch of useless details and maybe that might have made it worse? Haha, I don't know.

Anyway, can you cancel your score if you did poorly? Also, how much do subject tests effect college admissions? If I do worse than a 600, I think I might retake it and cancel my score (if that's possible).

You can't cancel your score after they are sent to you. I took it today also, and I have to send in my cancelation request before Wednesday of this week.

Half of the questions were general, but half of them were extremely specific. I think I might cancel my score :|

Oh, well then that sucks. How do I know if I'm going to do well or not? I don't know what to do now.....

I took it today as well. For most part, I think it was not TOO specific... perhaps because I've started revision for my AP Bio exam..which covers a lot more breadth and depth.

But I must admit that there are some questions that I never thought would appear on an SAT... not even on an AP ... and also ... the wording of some questions, just as sak09 said, is tricky...

Just hoping for the best =)
