Essays: Pretty good, especially for a math guy :)

Recs: 1 is amazing (my teacher loves me ... talks about me to his classes...is basically obsessed with me) and the other will probably a good one but not as good as my math teacher's one.

So, if you've gotten this far I really appreciate it, could you chance me at these schools, preferably with percents:

Schools:
MIT
Brown (ED)
Amherst
Carnegie Mellon

You have a good chance with Brown ED.
Competitive for MIT since you are a self proclaimed "math guy" with the stats to substantiate.

competitive for all of them, i'd say you have a shot, esp. for ed. And for some reason, I want to say that Amherst is helped by the fact that you're male. Maybe i'm wrong but...
good luck!

I've never heard that Amherst is in need of males...is that true?

You are well qualified for all of your listed schools and should expect to be admitted to CMU, MIT & at least one of the remaining two.

bump.........Isn't MIT harder to get into than Brown?

I think they are around the same level...but no, i'm sorry. For the male part i'm thinking Vassar..sorry

oh ok. I was thinking the liberal arts atmosphere might just have a higher % of girls. But I guess not :(.

It still might, i'm just thinking specifically Vassar tries to favor males. So, you never know :)
