I know its in me

Ive changed my career prospects alot during my life (still a junior in hs lol), but ever since the 5th grade Ive wanted to be a family physican. I love the atmosphere the job is in and I would love to be the one you go to when you get sick or arent feeling good...(same thing huh?). My mom is going to school right now to become an RN. Through her process ive skimmed through some of her books and heard stories of clinicals she's done. It seems so exciting and even at a higher level I know it will be even more...whats the word...fun?
Anyway; I love the body. I think its one of the wonders of the world...how it fights sickness to a degree and just functions as a whole. I have read and heard about how rigorious becoming a physican is. 8 years of college/med school and 3 yrs of residency wow! But im up for....bring it on...what ever it takes to get me there, ill do it. And you know what...even if it paid less than it did now, I would still become one.

-just my 2 cents..

I seconded you on that one. I feel the same way. Here's to MDs in our futures

Hey I totally agree. I'm glad I have fellow students passionate about medicine. I'm graduating high school in 3 months and I plan to major in nuerobiological sciences at the University of Florida. My cuz just finished EVERYTHING to become a pharmacist and he says it really all about the passion, so we can all do it. I personally wounld lave to become a nuerosurgeon- yeah more schooling, but I love the brain.

I guess just my 2 cents also.

as the son of a NEUrologist, I have a pet peeve about the spelling of the neurosciences: its NEURObiological and NEURO surgeon. Are you hispanic? I have noted they often invert the u and e because of the common ocurrence of nue in spanish(nuevo etc..)

Ok, since that comment is only mildly condescending I'll answer. I'm sorry I offended you. I hope to be a NEUROSURGEON. That better? Next time you post, why don't you try saying something worthwhile;)

Let us hopeful doctors find solace in the ever-changing field of medicine and immerse ourselves in what we truly love.

-2 cents more to add to the list.
