I made a mistake. Do colleges only look at the EFC on the CSS?

<p>I made a mistake on my css profile, but I was wondering if colleges look like the whole profile to determine the financial aid award. I'm asking because although my estimates for 2012 were wrong, my EFC will still be zero so I'm wondering if it's worth printing out the whole css profile, making changes by hand, and sending them to each college via snail mail.</p>

<p>There is no EFC on the CSS Profile. Each school uses the individual numbers according to their own (unpublished) formula to determine your need and aid package. I think you do need to do the corrections for each school. If the error is very small, you can contact each school and ask them what they want you to do.</p>
