I made a site for the econ majors out there...

Check out my website: UndergradEcon.com.

It's still underconstruction. What do you think? If you have any contributions: econ links, lecture notes, videos, ect., post them here and I'll put them up.

The purpose of the site is to provide a one stop resource for undergraduate economics students. Put in your two cents, I appreciate it.

Very cool!

Ya, its pretty fun to make the site. I want to gather as much economics resources as I can. I know I would use the site. I am constantly searching through pdf’s looking for lecture notes, ect.

That’s sweet. I like the humor section:

"A mathematician, an accountant and an economist apply for the same job.

The interviewer calls in the mathematician and asks “What do two plus two equal?” The mathematician replies “Four.” The interviewer asks “Four, exactly?” The mathematician looks at the interviewer incredulously and says “Yes, four, exactly.”

Then the interviewer calls in the accountant and asks the same question “What do two plus two equal?” The accountant says “On average, four - give or take ten percent, but on average, four.”

Then the interviewer calls in the economist and poses the same question “What do two plus two equal?” The economist gets up, locks the door, closes the shade, sits down next to the interviewer and says, “What do you want it to equal”?

hahahahaha ^

"Q: How many conservative economists does it take to change a light bulb?

A1: None. If the government would just leave it alone, it would screw itself in.

A2: None, because, look! It’s getting brighter! It’s definitely getting brighter!

A3: None, they’re all waiting for the unseen hand of the market to correct the lighting disequilibrium."

looking at those notes makes me realize i’m fcked…

@srjcstud:

I tutored economics at my ccc this year, and this pdf file really helped me explain Costs of Production stuff. http://www.econ.ohio-state.edu/jpeck/H200/EconH200L9.pdf

Maybe you want to add it?

Nice site- but it may interest you in adding domain privacy…
[undergradecon.com Whois - undergrad ec on - Who.is](undergradecon.com whois lookup - who.is)

Name.com does it for free and costs 8.99/year for the .com
I use them for all of my domains.

Otherwise GoDaddy will scam you into paying $20 (domain + privacy)

ya, people may know my name and adress, no worries, threre is more info on facebook about me,

If this site attains even more files, there’s no doubt I’ll use it when I transfer to UCLA in the fall. Econ 11 is going to be intense…

You should really keep the site up! It’s legit!

Some stats for UCLA econ
http://www.aim.ucla.edu/aprs/aprsrpt_econ.txt

Good stuff man. If I could recommend…

https://career.berkeley.edu/major/econ.stm

Pull yearly data and sort the table on your website.

oh Econ, got my Microecon final at 7 AM tomorrow, should be a breeze since I only need a high D to keep my A in the class.

SRJC stud… is SRJC as in Santa Rosa Junior College? If so I’m at the same school as you.

I hope the content is helpful. The site design is very amateurish though.

If you need more content for the lecture notes, let me know. I still have all my PDF’s/Powerpoints/Sample Exams/Problem Sets for Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, and some other upper-division courses. Just make sure the stuff you post has already been publicly available for everyone and the professor doesn’t place certain “intellectual property” rights on them.

^ I’m taking Davis at the Petaluma campus. The final went ok, I only need like a C- to get a 90% and though it wasn’t my best effort I’m sure I still did better than a C.

itunes university (or U) has some great econ lecture downloads (free) from top universities.

[berkeleyclassesirecommend (markborgschulte)](Mark Borgschulte, University of Illinois - berkeleyclassesirecommend)

Applies to all colleges, not just Berk.

second video is something which should be common sense.

I slept in econ as much as I was awake and there’s nothing new or relevant to me.

that said the dictionary of terms is probably going to be VERY VERY useful, I’ll need to look it over when I get a chance, and for that I shall thank you.

if I ever get time i’ll look into watching both series, maybe when I get a break or something.
