I've had mine for 2 1/2 years and it's absolutely falling apart.

All I really ask for is a decent camera. A QWERTY keyboard would be nice, but not necessary.

i love the enV (on verizon)

Blackberry. Period.

Blackberry Curve. I fell in love with mine within the first day I had it!

Depending on what service provider you have and what type of contract you have (if you have one), you should be eligible for a new phone for free. If so, you should easily be able to find one with the requirements you want (cameraphones are pretty standard nowadays) and you may be able to get a smartphone upgrade for only $50 or so more.

how decent of a camera do you want. do you consider 2mp decent or do you want something better such as a 5mp camera? a pretty affordable phone with a 5mp camera, no qwerty keyboard though, is the samsung g600

the smart phone is cool

Samsung i760 is pretty nice, especially if you mod it to be like the iPhone

Blackjack IMO.

I like the iPhone, but I don't know how easy texting is...

BlackBerry Curve is great. Iphone is amazing. ATT data (internet, text, ect.) service is phenominal.

I have the iPhone and I will admit that AT&T service is crap. My parents/sister are with Verizon and I always have to use their phone when I receive no signal. I'd say go for a Blackberry especially with the whole BBM feature.

Verizon is great I got an Lg Voyager
Great Phone!

I say get the HTC 8925. It is available for many providers under different names (At&T Tilt, Verizon vx6800). A quick summary off the top of my head:

-sliding qwerty keyboard
-touchscreen and a few buttons when closed
-3 Megapixel camera with autofocus
-GPS built-in
-Windows Mobile 6
-802.11g wifi
-when the screen slides out, it tilt up (hence the name) so you won't have to look at it at an awkward angle while you use the keyboard.

It's quite pricy though.

Nokia 6300

Great memory
Great feel
Great look
Great speed
Nice buttons
Slim/Slick
Great camera/video camera

It's a great phone. I have it and it's absolutely magnificent.

Samsung Alias (U740) from Verizon

I'd suggest a Blackberry or a RAZR from Verizon.

I was looking for the same phone as you and I ended up getting The RUMOR. It has a pretty decent camera, videocamera, etc. It also has a QWERTY keyboard. You should check it out. Other than that the EnV is pretty good but I dont like its size.

i have the Verizon EnV. I like it pretty well :]

i have the palm centro. touchscreen (with a qwerty) is the way to go.
