I'm taking Statistics 134 and its killing me. This is the only class that drains me. If I could just understand the material in this class, I would be golden. I'm confident that I'm capable of understanding it, I just need a little one-on-one help. Does anyone have any recommendations for private tutors? Any help is appreciated thanks.

SLC does free drop in tutoring m-th from like 10-4 and f 10-2 or something like that. It should help a bunch!

yep.. in fact, the SLC is offering three study groups, one for each respective section of the class, this semester. I'm sure going to those would help somewhat. You can look up the times and locations of the study groups on the SLC website. Also, I believe the Stat department itself has tutors on hand that you can go to for help. I'm not sure if you can just drop by and ask for help for free like at the SLC or if you need to make an appointment and actually pay them.

Yeah, the SLC isn't much of a help because its not one-on-one. I e-mailed the Stat dept. tutors so we'll see how that goes

Ask for a student tutor named "Janet" at the SLC for statistics tutoring.

Scoffs AP Statistics is a breeze, so Berkeley stats should be too! Just kidding guys. How much more difficult is college stats compared to AP?

AP statistics was a joke. it was my easiest AP exam!
