I need advice, friggin yearbook quote

So my legacy depends on my yearbook quote choice and I know we all have more pressing issues but I don't want to look back in 20 years and say:"if only I had gone with the other quote, tings might have been different..."
Any thoughts would be much appreciated! And if none of mine move you towards "yea, that's not half bad" then I'm all ears to anything you might propose
1)I want to dance, I want to win. I want that trophy, so dance good (uma thurman pulp fiction)
2)There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path (The Matrix)
3a)Dare to be yourself.(Andre Gide)
3b)What another would have done as well as you, do not do it. What another would have said as well as you, do not say it; what another would have written as well, do not write it. Be faithful to that which exists nowhere but in yourself (Andre Gide)
4)Rule #76: No excuses. Play like a champion! (Wedding Crashers)

hmm... I like #2.
there have been other quote threads on here, so search for those and you might find others you like.

Don't do number one, unless your a dancer. Number two is really cheesy; I think you'd regret that one later. I like number 3b. Number 4 is good too, but that's because I love Wedding Crashers. I know a few guys who each listed 3 of the rules.

Don't take your quote so seriously. Your high school legacy doesn't depend on your yearbook quote. A quote won't make or break your future; it's a few lines of ink.

Yea, don't do something cheesy, but something kind of off-the-wall or humorous. I think mine was "You are what you eat!" (obviously I LOVE food lol)

In 20 years, your yearbook will have been in a closet at mom's for saaay 19 years, as it is with everyone else who developes a life beyond HS. While it seems to be really important now, it won't be later.

Besides all of those quotes will require a source reference as in 20 years nobody is going to recall them.

Be yourself. Write your own words.

i think u should just come up with your own quote by yourself rather than ask here. you will regret it down the road. just use a quote that you really believe in, it doesnt matter if its cheesy or not. if u believe it, than who cares what anybody else thinks.

Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker.

It’s the friends you can call up at four a.m. that matter.
Marlene Dietrich

Non Ducor Duco-I am not led, I lead.

Pretty sweet for a latin scholar huh?

mine was an inside joke that no one, including myself, will understand in 20 years.

I don't think that you should pick the Wedding Crashers one. I feel as if you'll be embarrassed to admit where that one came from 20 years from now, haha =)

wy not say, "my legacy begins when I say so! And, after I have paid my own bills for a good long while."

Dank08 is right. Always look to Ogden Nash for wisdom.
