Ive taken Spanish since 6th grade and in my freshman year i took Spanish 2 Pre-AP but HATED it. I didnt take a language this year and signed up for Russian 1 next year. I think I'll like Russian but I'll only be able to go up to Russian 2 in it because I'll be a junior next year. However I really want to learn Arabic however my high school doesnt offer it so I'll probably wait until college to take it, but in the meantime what should I do? I'm torn between 3 languages

Be different and do German, or Ancient Greek. I wish I did…

^ or take Icelandic lol

Don’t take Spanish for two more years if you hate it. You can do Russian 1 and 2 in high school, and if you really like it, you can continue taking it in college, in conjunction with Arabic.

Don’t take classes that you hate unless you absolutely have to. I think Russian is a great language. Keep in mind: it is significantly more challenging to learn than Spanish (although I’d say less so than Chinese or Japanese), but if you’re legitimately interested in it, it will be fun to learn. :)
