Ok, I need major help in choosing, well, a major. I've been accepted to most of the schools that I applied to as a biology (biochemistry for some schools, I'll have to check) major. That's all fine and dandy, but now I'm not sure what I want to do. I feel as if I've also left things kind of late: I applied to schools almost on a whim, and I'm only now really concerned with going to a quality school. I'll list some things that I'm interested in so that hopefully some of you can help me.

Stem cell research
Cannabis/Hemp research
Renewable and green energy
Neuroscience
Computer science (programming and stuff like that)
Politics
Economics

I'd like to do something that I love and could also lead to good jobs, something future proof. I guess that I should also list the schools I applied to.

Fairleigh Dickinson University - accepted
Pace University - accepted
Drew University - accepted
Seton Hall University - accepted
Boston University - denied (I thought that it was too late to take a subject test)
Drexel University - accepted
Claflin University - accepted

Thank you to anyone who responds, I'm really in a bind.

Don’t get a degree in Economics from a school which does not have a Ph.D in Economics. I don’t have time to explain, but if you have JStor look up Dr. Wendy Stock’s research if you want to know the reason why.

The only one of them I know has a Ph.D in Economics is Drexel, also they’re known for their externships and how effectively they shop their undergraduates for employment with more vigor than some graduate programs do.

My cousin went to Pace and he loved it, but there is a big difference between the two campuses, he said. I guess one is in the middle of nowhere and the other is in a pretty awesome location in the city.

I don’t know the rest of the schools, but I do know that Forbes called Pace a college that gets their grads rich and it’s not far from “Wall Street.”

Thanks, Xavi. I’ll look up Dr. Wendy Stock. My aunt went to Pace (accounting) and I know from experience how they “get their grads rich”. As for Drexel, I did like the amount of preparation that the students seemed to have, but I honestly don’t see myself going there. Maybe it needs a bit more mulling over. If it makes any difference, I can go to FDU basically for free, so I guess that should be at the forefront, right?
