I don’t know what to talk about. I’m afraid, I’m not able to promote myself. All i ever did in my life, is this weird website that I made with a French friend : http://ventilons.canalblog.com
If this is the idea you want to work with, go for it. Start by simply writing down your thoughts (as notes). If I were the admissions officer, I would be curious to know… How did you meet your French friend (are you located in a different country)? Why did you create the website and what is its purpose? What did you learn from the process? Was it easy to do, or difficult? How did it help you grow as a person? Does this website help others in some way? What did the process of creating the website with your friend reveal to you about yourself (your hopes, dreams, growth)? Does it relate at all to your intended major or future career plans? After you have your thoughts down on paper… start to write your essay. You don’t need to write your paragraphs in order. Just write a very rough draft. Writing a good essay may take quite a while, and many re-writes. Don’t expect to sit down and write a good application essay in one day, or even in one week. The college admissions officer wants to get a glimpse of who you are outside of your academic record. He/she wants to see something unique to you.
