I need help with colleges before its too late

I’m about to enter my senior year of high school and will graduate at 16. I want to go directly into an undergraduate communications program, but I’m currently uncertain as to my best paths given my age and the state of the world right now. Currently I am interested in Salisbury, Ithaca, and Penn State for four year schools, but I also have the more cost effective option of a very good community college near me. I have good grades and should be able to graduate with a pretty good GPA and while I plan to take the SAT I haven’t yet. Does anyone have any advice for me or opinions on these schools?

@memkar26, could you please tell us which state you live in? This info is helpful so we can recommend reasonable, economical choices.

I am in maryland but have chosen those specific schools since i have family near there

Have you talked with your parents about how they expect you to pay for college? If not, do that now. Sit down with them and run the Net Price Calculators on the websites of these three universities, and see if your parents think they look affordable.

What county do you live in? Since you will be so young when you finish high school, would your parents be happier if you commute to your local community college for the first two years? You can learn about transferring credits from that place to Salisbury or any of the other 4-year colleges and universities in Maryland here https://artsys.usmd.edu/
