i need match schools!

i know what my reach schools are, but i need some more match schools. right now they are rhodes, bryn mawr. please more suggestions!
i'm interested in internatinoal relations and languages.

GPA: 4.19 (weighted)
ACT: 31
SAT: 700 verbal, 600 math, 720 writing

Middlebury, Georgetown, Tufts, Lafayette.

would i not need to call georgetown a reach?

Both Georgetown and Middlebury are not easy to get into and you should consider carefully whether they are truly matches or reaches.

Georgetown, Middlebury, and Tufts would all be reaches.

delaware, maryland

Boston University

here's some more to consider about me:
i live in alabama
my main ecs are scholars bowl and my political awareness club (which i'm co-president of)
i am a third year french and spanish student, and a 4th year latin student
my weighted GPA should have gone up a bit
NHS, FHS, LHS, most likely SHS

liberal arts colleges are nice too! oh and i like staying a little closer to home than say um vermont

thanks

Elon in NC?

I was rejected from Georgetown with higher stats. It's a lot more competitive than people give it credit for... 22% acceptance rate (as of last year's US News guide, and like any other school, probably gaining popularity with every passing year).

Tulane is coming to mind... That might lean towards being more of a reach, but it's certainly reasonable, and I think they're working to increase interest and enrollment since Katrina hit.

I would suggest applying to schools a little farther from home... Your location could actually work in your favor. (Colleges like having students from all 50 states... being from Alabama would probably make you a more attractive applicant in some cases.) If you really don't want to go all the way up to New England :), there are plenty of great liberal arts colleges in Pennsylvania. Bucknell, Franklin and Marshall, and Gettysburg are three that may be viable matches for you.

Macalester might be good; being from Alabama makes you diverse at many northern schools. Might help you a bit.

Nearer to home: maybe U Richmond?

lafayette
goucher

thanks so much! i am actually looking at Elon more. bucknell looks promising too

? davidson?

^ Soo not a match. I wish it were easier to get into

yeah, davidson has like a 27% acceptance rate
so not a match
i think i've chosen marlboro (yeah it's far away) for my other match

While you are looking at Marlboro come check out Bennington, it's awesome!!
