I recently got an acceptance letter from my top choice of school. I like the school so much that I want to confirm my enrollment there and not apply anywhere else. However, my parents are encouraging me to apply elsewhere just to see if I could get in. I'm pretty certain that this school is the one I want to go to, it has everything that I want there. Plus, it is very affordable for my family. Should I apply to the other schools I had in mind, or relieve all the stress of college apps and decide to go there? I want to do that, but I have this feeling that I'm doing something wrong.

Who cares if you can get in somewhere else if you are already in your first choice school? Ask your parents to give the money to a charity of their choice if the application fees are burning a hole in their pockets. Congratulations and know that you are in an enviable position to be done with the process so early. Now enjoy the rest of your senior year!
