<p>Please any one could help me because the education system in U.S.A is very complicated I can't understand it.</p>

<p>Oncology is not a major, it is a specialty once are in Medical School. You need to first get your undergraduate degree, often in Biology or other pre-med track major and than be accepted into Medical School.</p>
<p>It is not a major per se, like Bobby said. You have to get your undergraduate degree first after four or so years of college and then get accepted and go to a medical school for four more years. In medical school, you can specialize in oncology and then afterwards complete a residency at an actual hospital for some amount of time to become an oncologist.</p>

<p>Are you an international student? Then you should study medicine in your own country, and come to the US for specialization training after you finish.</p>
<p>Everyone is mostly right here. Just to clarify (my friend’s dad is an oncologist) but to become one, you need to:
Do 4 years of undergrad and take Pre-med requirements (any major is possible in the US)
Do 4 years of Medical School
Do a usually 3 year residency for Internal Medicine
Do a fellowship that can be from 2-4 years in Oncology.</p>
