Hello everyone!
I really need advice and opinions on this one.

I am currently enrolled in community college in Florida. My GPA is 3.80 (Got 87% B's on Physics 1, 89.4% B on Physics 2, and another B on English 1, A's on everything else including Math courses up to Diff Eq.) this is my last term and I will be transferring next spring.

So far I got accepted to University of Florida, and Georgia Institute of Technology ME departments. I am also waiting on decision from University of Michigan.

I at first put GT as my first choice but visited GT last weekend and found out that environment is just horrible (built right next to the main highway) and my friends at GT told me not to go to there since it's really really hard and they regret going there. (I consider them really smart and hard working.) GT also has one of the worst Male/Female ratio and my friends told me that all the good girls are taken xD.

Assuming I get accepted to above all three (Umich, UF, GT)
where would be the best place for me to go if I forget about the ranking?

Everybody has their own opinion on issues like this, but I personally was in your very same position not long ago. At a CC in FL, got into UF as well, and eventually decided to come to Purdue My personal experience has told me that there really isnt a whole lot of difference in the engineering opportunities at the top 25ish schools. UF would fall into this category. The only real advantage that Mich will offer is a legit shot at banking and consulting UF is not going to. However, there is a lot of recruiting at UF for engineering positions, and if you want to be an engineer then this is all that you should focus on. In my opinion, and if I could make my decision over again I would have saved the money and went to UF. The weather is 1000X better, lots of girls, and if youre in-state its nearly free Hindsight is 2020, I love Purdue but the massive looming monthly payments for student loans has made me question my decision. Plus, right about now the weather outside is a far cry from sunny FL and itll only get worse from here on out.

Since it sounds like environment will make the decision for you I would visit Michigan in February and then decide. As far as education quality they are all about equal.
