I started a global non-profit. What are my Ivy League chances?

Some of the people responding to this are crazy… If you truly did all this I think you certainly have a good shot. I find it absurd how starting a global non profit could be criticized with the admissions committee.

An Admissions Committee is going to take one look at the OP’s transcript and ask themselves: WHY did the OP seemingly pay MORE attention and put MORE time and effort into his global non profit than his school work? (The OP has an unweighted 3.75 GPA, which according to Harvard’s Common data set, means that 87% of admitted students had a higher GPA in high school.) Keep in mind: Harvard is not an extracurricular camp, it’s an academic institution looking for top scholars who will excel in the classroom.

Too many see this as just about the competition for an admit, while the tippy tops are looking at strengths for the actual four years. So, I agree with Gibby.
