I STILL have no idea what to do!!!

Granted, I'm only 16, but still! What you want to do in life determines where you should go to college, and you have to do certain things to get into certain colleges. I'm not exactly looking for someone to tell me what to do, but more or less suggestions on how to decide what I want to do and career ideas. Others can use this thread too if they want. I'm into helping all the lost people out there :)

So. About me.

1) Smart. (naturally smart, if it matters, as in things click easily and i read fast)
2) Happy.
3) Outgoing.
4) Good writer. (both journalistic and creative)
5) Easily bored (hate waiting for long times/doing the same thing for a long time/doing menial things that have no point)

About my career.

1) Should be fast paced.
2) Should have lots of people interaction
3) Hopefully will make good money/has potential
4) Should benefit the greater outcome of the world

I've thought of the following:

surgeon (like medicine/great money/fast paced/lots of people- but can i handle all that schooling and the long hours?)

foreign correspondent(people interaction/fast paced/writing- but can i handle the stress and loneliness?)

journalist (writing, fast-paced-but can i handle the low pay and difficult entry?)

wedding planner (i'd love this job, but how the heck do you break in? and it's kind of random. plus it won't exercise my brain much)

college professor (i'd love this too, but humanities professors have a low low acceptance rate into asst. professorships, and I can't risk 10 years of expensive study only to be denied)

i know this is long, but even if you don't read it all, please give me some advice!

take your time and don't rush yourself. do yourself a favor--something I wish I did back in HS--and start researching those careers your interested in. see if they really interest (and not just the money either).
