there was a "view decision" link in the "view application status" link in the wolverine access page.

oh ok, thanks. i wasnt sure if the waitlist was binding or not, i heard that carnegie mellon had one that was priority or binding or something. I didnt know how the other colleges like u of michigan operate with that.

CUPKSDAD- well i didn't mean to say UIUC was a poor option. In my current state, thinking about going to med school afterwards, Penn STate (at least for me)would be a better thing for me (i am oos) because going to UIUC as an international cost more than regular oos. UIUC is a very sold school, no doubt. I would go if my financial state permits. i am just choosing between UW and PSU

qtipkorea4u - D accepted to UIUC as well and had to apply as international. In regards to UIUC tuition for OOS, I contacted them and what they said is that the tuition for internationals are exactly the same as the OOS. They do put a hgher estimates only for the purpose of having some room if things go up when they submit the I-20 for your visa.

waitlist is just really really depressing....ireally can't believe 1 of my options closed up in this manner...did ne 1 get accepted ...all i seem to be hearing in this round of descions is wait listed....

I just found out now that I got wait listed.

This is usually false hope, and you kinda "know" you're going to get rejected eventually...
What ****es me off is that something inside me still holds a little speck of hope, making your rejection harder to embrace x|

Rjkofnovi, not sure if you were being sarcastic or not, but if you're referring to my screen name, I used that term to mock those that live through their siblings achievements.

qtipkorea4u,
You said you might consider going into medical school. You also indicated that you are an international student. I hope you are aware that most public medical schools have a citizenship/permanent residency requirement.

"The UWSOM does not consider foreign applicants unless they are permanent residents of the United States (i.e., possess a green card). Permanent residence documentation is part of the application requirement to the UWSOM for all foreign applicants." UW Medicine - Frequently Asked Questions

@GoBlue: As an international student myself, I thank you for that information. I feel pretty stupid not knowing this beforehand, as a prospective medical student. I'm going to UBC in Canada (as a freshman, if that wasn't clear already); hopefully, I can get into a US graduate school for medicine.
