I think I just got the perfect college laptop

<p>It has everything I could ever want. The only thing that is lacking is a powerful GPU for gaming, but I decided that I should not be gaming to often during school.</p>

<p>I also got it for 100 dollars less then the price listed, and a free extra battery.</p>

<p>I hope you enjoy it, it looks good. I'll be getting a cheaper computer. Did you make sure you looked at the deals that CMU has with IBM first?</p>

<p>The laptop is backorded, so I won't get it for three weeks, and they only charge me once the laptop is sent... so I can cancel whenever I want.</p>

<p>I was looking at the t43 thinkpad, but I eventually decided to buy this Acer Travelmate:

<p>It has essentially the same price and stats but comes with a better graphics card, bigger hd, and more ram standard. However, it's about 1lb heavier. I like it :-)</p>

<p>PowerBook G4 17" <em>thumbs up</em> I know Carrera doesn't like Macs, so whatever. I love it. I'm on it right now. It was $500 more than the one Carrera linked, but it's got better specs, and plus, it's a Mac.</p>

<p>I got it for 2400 with tax and shipping from Lenovo with a Lenovo employee discount.</p>
