I Think I Messed Up!!!

So I got a Federal Pell Grant and have accepted it. I went back to look at it and think I made a mistake.
It says…
The “X” indicates a check mark that I can no longer change.
X 2015 Fall Semester $2,000
X 2016 Spring Semester $2,000
X 2016 Summer Semester $1,000
Total$5,000

The problem is I’m not attending a summer semester! So if I didn’t check that would the $1,000 be distributed among the fall and spring semesters (thereby giving me $2,500 instead of $2000)? Or would it just bring the total down to $4,000 instead of $5,000?

I would call the school tomorrow and ask.

Ok I’ll do that but does anyone know if unchecking the summer semester would have increased the amount I got during the fall and spring? (it would really help me sleep tonight if I knew!)

If your EFC qualified you for a $5k Pell, you should get $2500 each semester but yes, call and get it straightened out now.
