I was feeling naseaus when I came into class and asked the teacher if I could go to the nurse. She told me to wait until she got class started. five minutes into class, I leaned over to the side of my desk and massively hurled all over the carpet and several desks. When I returned to get my belongings, the entire class had their shirts up over their noses and refused to make eye contact with me. It was unbelievably awkward.

I'm completely MORTIFIED to return to school, and particularily to that class, on Monday.

Is this something to be embarassed/worried about? It was so humiliating...

haha, aww! that does sound pretty bad. but, honestly, it’s the teacher’s fault, not yours. if i were u, i would just laugh it off. it’s doubtful that u have any legitimately cruel people in your class who would actually make fun of u for it [correct?]. it will pass;give it time :]

By Monday half the class would probably have forgotten about it. And it’s not like you were dissecting something and that made you throw up - you were genuinely sick. Unless you have really **** classmates, it’s nothing to worry about.

The same thing happened to me in 10th grade (current senior) and people still joke about it. Chances are people won’t forget, but no one should judge you for it. The teacher sounds like a dumbass for not letting you leave though.

If it makes you feel any better, I once had a spontaneous nose bleed in my Spanish class. During the middle of some notes my nose just like opened up. I had to stand up and go running out of the class to the bathroom (she didn’t have tissues). There was blood all over the place. No one said anything the next day. There were just a couple kids that were joking with me about how funny it is. I didn’t lose any sleep over it.

Sorry to butt in here, but I don’t get it. I treat several kids with vomiting phobias, or fears of returning to school after vomiting. What is it about vomiting and humilation among teenagers?

^i wouldn’t particularly think so. if u throw up, it’s either because u ate something bad or were sick. if your nose spontaneously starts bleeding…it’s a little strange :]

Yeah it was completely random. And it was really messy too. I mean obviously they’re not the same thing, but the experience is similar, I think.

Haha I did that when I was in my sophomore Spanish class. I threw up on the guy next to me! The THIRD day of class when I knew NO ONE.

PS: I ended up having 2 best friends from that class. Trust me, it’ll be ok. People move on. No one ever mentioned it to me when I returned to class.

what happened to you will become an anecdotal moment of days in (insertclasshere), but not much more. people are usually too busy caring about their lives to be so snide about an accident that hurt no one

Bradyboy: My Spanish 8 HONORS class is even worst. We have only 3 guys in the class and rest of them are girls. Whenever I make a random comment in the classroom, the girls start to get wild and start actually humiliate you from there. Then the teacher has a difficult time calming down the class afterwards. Worst than having people laugh at you or ignore you when you throw up - that I can understand part of the immaturity than the worst condition of what I experience daily.
