<p>While I'm not a current Villanova student, I'm fairly certain that there are current Villanova students that turned down better/more prestigious universities to attend Villanova. I know, a school isn't defined by the schools matriculants turned down, but still...</p>
<p>Maybe some of you turned down, say, Notre Dame, JHU or Haverford to attend Villanova...</p>
<p>I don’t know what this proves: most times a “Better” school is turned down because they offered little to no aid as compared to VU, not for academics, so it is a financial default than a preference. A better question is: if you got the same financial package, would you still pick VU over [better school name]?</p>
