I'm sorta getting fed up with NHS at my school. I just don't have the friggin balls to go up to the advisor and say, "I quit." What should I do?

If you don’t have the balls to say I quit say you don’t have the time anymore or something like that. That’s what I use if I ever can’t do something.

No one can stop you.

Just stop coming to meetings / stop turning stuff in.

The advisor is really nice though. I just don’t wanna be a douch*bag to him.

Then tell him the truth, or send him an email.

My advisor was a b*tch so I had no issue not coming to meetings lol.

I am currently quitting NHS. It really isn’t a big deal to quit.

why are you quitting?

Maybe you should not attend one or two upcoming meetings while letting the students know you will no longer be apart of it. Also go to NHS president or advisor and tell them. Probably best to tell NHS president who is a student like yourself and likely more understandable.

I ( and other students) probably don’t have time myself to be apart of NHS for my second semester either, oh well, I’ll join clubs in college ( being more active) .
