I want to be President of the United States

What should I do in HS to prepare for my ultimate ascension to the Presidency of the United States?

Should I take AP US History to start?

Let me know.

Thanks

You should aim to get into Harvard or another Ivy League. The presidents and majority of the rest of the prominent political figures were graduates from such schools. APUSH won’t have any effect on your goal.

EDIT: Law degrees (and other graduate degrees) and working in the army are other common traits of presidents.

Random fact: No (or hardly any) president has been the only child in their family.

No president has needed CC to help them get there ;)

How did George Bush Jr. get into Yale again?.. He used CC!

No no no you’ve got it all wrong. Bush Sr. asked for advice on behalf of his son on CC to help him get in.

they don’t care about what you took in high school they care about where you go to college and graduate school!

The excessive jokes aren’t really moving this conversation anywhere, regardless of whether or not it can be moved.

Considering the OP was probably joking to begin with…

That’s quite an assumption. You gave a pretty serious answer.

Actually, I was making a humorous point because of the fact that no past president is young enough to have used CC… Relax a little about this, the OP asked a question that has nothing to do with pre-med and, surprisingly, was ONLY met with a couple jokes instead of getting his head ripped off like some parts of this forum are inclined to do. Look at OPs post history if you think he is serious.

so do thousands of others…

I’m going to be the 50th President of the United States!

I was POTUS once. It’s overrated IMO.
