I want to find boarding schools in New England

I am in one of the top schools in my region and get above average grades consistently. For SSAT practice tests I get somewhere around the 85th to the 90th percentile (Princeton Review, SSAT website and Ivy Global tests) I’m looking for pretty good schools and am asking for some recommendations for 8th grade boarding.

Thank you guys and girls in advance.

Basically, am just wondering what my chances are of getting into a high caliber school.

Groton and Fay are two good 8th grade boarding schools, but hyper-competitive to my information.

Fay’s boarding is only 5 days/week, which is useless for an international applicant.

The OP might want to do some research on boardingschoolsreview and then come back with more specific questions.

@skieurope The Fay School tells me that they have both 5-day and 7-day boarding. I believe their website indicates this as well- although it may not be clear with a cursory glance.

@bsalum Not for 8th grade, AFAIK, which was the OP’s question. Regardless, the OP asked the question 10 months ago, and has long dropped off the site, so it’s moot now.

@skieurope They do have 7-day. Fay’s upper school is 7-9. They end at 9. I know it’s moot but people like me who are searching for schools look at old posts and since you are a moderator, I thought you should know for the future.

Thanks
