I was accepted to GA Tech, but a club I was president on shut down. Should I tell them?

So, this year I attempted to be the president of one of my school’s science clubs, after the previous president didn’t have enough time to run it. I mentioned this on the application, however, shortly afterwards there was a serious of problems with getting members to pay dues that culminated in the sponsor being out of school on the day we were supposed to collect dues, with the members who showed up not even having them.

Should I tell this to GA Tech?

No.

No. Just move on with life.

Thanks for the quick responses. That is likely the best thing I can do.

You were not accept to GT on the basis of your club politics. I agree with the above. GT wouldn’t care.

No. First of all one club more or less won’t matter. Second your application was as of a point in time and everything you put down was true when you submitted the application so there is no issue. Nobody expects that you can foresee the future.
