does WUSTL have ED II?

yup

Unfortunately, I think Wash U will result in a similar outcome as Cornell. I think you have a better chance at Lehigh or Northeastern.

thats what i thought… the gpa is really killing me.

Our DD’s had a classmate with a 35 ACT and similar upward trend GPA; he was accepted at Lehigh and Northeastern, but not Mich or ND, amongst others. He’s really enjoying Lehigh!

Our DD’s had a 35 ACT, 3.85 UW / 4.3 W GPA, but were unhooked so were Deferred or Denied at all of the Ivy’s they applied to; they did get into a bunch of top ranked LAC’s so all ended up well, and it will for you as well!

So sorry about Cornell. Ik how much rejection sucks. I’m 99% sure that WUSTL doesn’t have ED 2 (because if it did, I would have definitely done it). If you go to Common App and click on “My College Requirements” (on the right corner of the dashboard) you can see which of your schools offer ED 2. Is your GPA weighted? What is your junior/senior year GPA?

WUSTL doesnt have Ed 2 !!!

my GPA weighted is around 4.2-4.3. and upon learning that WUSTL does not have ED II, I would be applying to Vandy ED 2

My Senior Year GPA is hovering around 3.8 and if I applied to U mich my gpa would be around 3.65 as they dont consider freshman year

U Mich recalculates using 9th -11th grades, see attached https://umich.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2259/~/recalculating-the-gpa-for-freshmen-applicants

for U mich I would have a 3.67 with a 33 act cuz they dont superscore… 3.67 is actually a decent gpa at my school.

You’ll need to compare to the U Mich OSS Student Profile to see where that falls on the curve.

So sorry for you! Same happened to me. Got rejected ED from Cornell. My list of RD universities is quite similar to yours! I’m also doing UMich, UVA,USC, BU, CUNY, Virginia Tech and Rice! I’ve been accepted to BU and UoR for Spring though.
