"I wouldn't go here if it were the last place on Earth"

I got into The Gallatin School at NYU, which is an individualized study school of only 1200 people. So, for me, NYU won't be as immense as it could be. It's also pretty small-moderate sized classes throughout, from what I hear.

"Idea of living in a freakin desert does not really appeal to me. I love the son, "

Uhhhhhhh? What? Did that make sense to anyone?

University of Alabama.
and- I have to say Clemson, but I think that’s for the name… and the preppiness.

Ole Miss
Mississippi State
BYU
Yeshiva
RPI

BJU & Suffolk CC because I think like 63% of this years graduating class went there.

Towson.

ughh. too close, too many people from my hs go there and not many good programs…

THE Ohio State University
I haven’t grown a comparable wrath for Tarheels yet

Pensacola Christian College (search for the thread about it shudder)

After reading this thread I would include Bob Jones onto my list along with Liberty and maybe Pensacola

UGA, UC Berkley, most any big state school…

cornell, dartmouth, etc basically any college that is extremely rural

Any LAC (ahhh-rampant liberalism! :p); any school in New Jersey, Florida, Montana, North/South Dakota, California, Wyoming, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Delaware, West Virginia, Iowa, Idaho, New Mexico, or Wisconsin; most of my state’s state schools; NYU; and any school where too many kids from my school have decided to attend.

BYU, Villanova, BYU, “Liberty University”, BYU, and the like.

Any homogeneous school.

NYU (never, ever, ever). Worst college experience possible in my opinion.
UChicago
Washington and Lee

apple2pie9: Cornell isn’t extremely rural. Ithaca is a very nice town built around the several colleges that are in it (Ithaca College, Cornell, maybe some others).

BYU
Northeastern
UPenn
NYU
Wesleyan
Bard
Oberlin
Macalester

I know this has been said before but Deep Springs (this has also been said before but I also really want to meet someone who went there)

For those of you who dont know this at Deep Springs you have to run a ranch (get up 6 am, feed the cows, go to class, tend to the sheep, etc)

Any super religious school (not any one with an affiliation, but one where the religion affects daily life to the extreme)

Service academies (not a fit for me at allll)

There just seems so many that I would seriously HATE, but if it was my only choice (last place on Earth), then my education would still be more important then my distaste of the school.

Hands down Bob Jones University or Liberty University.
