IB 250 Context of Global Business

My DD is a first year student at Bama in the Culverhouse school of business, but will have 52 hours at the end of this semester. She is trying to find courses to fill out the fall semester that are not just throw away classes. She is currently planning on taking accounting, CS285, a Humanites and an honors class. Has anyone taken this class? Is there any value in it? Would it fulfill the requirement for an international class? Thanks.

IBA 250 meets the CBA International Course requirement. I’d recommend IBA 350 instead, but she’d need a prerequisite override.

Can she get an override for 300 level classes with less than 60 hours?

She’s in a situation where she doesn’t have a lot of courses left to take at the 100/200 level, so she has a good case for an override.
