IB Physics HL

Wow, paper 2 was one of the hardest things i've ever taken . . . paper 1 wasn't tooooo bad.

what did u guys think of it?

I took it last year and yeah it was the hardest test of my life. Luckly i still got a 4!!!

about how much of it do you think you were able to answer correctly?

I liked ur nickname!! ja

Im in Physics HL but I'll take the IB test until next year...

Now that youv'e finish it... are there any recommendation you can give me?

i'll give details after paper 3 tomorrow (just took 1+2 today)

When I took it I guessed on about 50% left one completely blank (forgot if that was paper 2 or 3) but managed to answer most of paper 1 accurately. My internal assessments were pretty good as well but I was really happy with a 4 since most of my friends were getting 2s and 3s.

yea i think i got about 65% of paper 2 and 70% of paper 1

well those should be 7s, or at least very high 6s, right?

i thought SL was fairly easy (papers 1 + 2)

any other SL kids happen to look here?

my friends taking SL told me that it was really easy

and i hope those are 6's or 7's lol.

Bah it killed me as well. During reading time my thoughts were (page by page): "There goes my dreams of a 7." Next question: "There goes my 6." Section B: "Oh. There goes my high 5. And... there goes my low 5."

Paper 1 was sort of bad but paper 3 was allright.

Which options did you do?

i did Optics and Astrophysics

i was going to do history . . . then I realized i had no clue who half those people were . .

u?

bumppppppppppp

Paper 1 just appeared simply a bit different in style compared to the recent past papers. (you could say a bit harder)

Wow. I pretty much got destroyed. My teacher didn't teach the paradox on astrophysics and most people didn't know it so we made up answers. So easy, if only I had just read about it once, that would've been five marks! My teacher says she's sure I did fine. Although I doubt it. I've stopped caring as the diploma will be easy to get. I got anywhere from a 3-5 I bet. Just depends how I did on paper one and how much credit I get on papers 2 and 3. I just didn't feel prepared.

paradox was that night sky is black i think while according to newton stars are infinitely many so the sky should be filled with stars and have no empty black space.

my entire physics class was only taught one option (optics) we had to study the other by self. i thought astro option was easy, everything else . . . ehh

yea i'm thinking b/t 3-5. i'm pretty sure 6,7 is out of question.
