IB vs. AP

I come from a school that uses only AP. You take a test in May and hope to pass, (get about 60%) and then you get a 5 which means you are well qualified for an introductory college course.

Could someone explain to me what this IB program is? Who takes it? Is it international or just some other part of the country?

IB schools are all over the world, including the United States. They focus on becoming proficient in two languages. (English and French, English and Spanish, etc.)

I don't know much about it though. You could learn more about it here, http://www.ibo.org/ .

am an ib diploma candiate, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

let me give you a general overview, the ib program is a 2 year program which comes after your 2 pre-ib years.
its requires you to take 3 higher level test/ and 3 standard level classes and score atleast 24 points in order to recieve the diploma.

the general purpose of ib is to create bilingual students and is recognized profusely internationalLY, while its very disrespected in the.
US

furthermore ib has other requirements, such as cas hours, ee, ia, tok, pre.e, and other things you need to complete, if you want me to explain what these are just ask.
