<p>^ Too short would be anything below 5’. Ideally she would have to be around 5’3’', but that’s rare for a gymnast.</p>
<p>Seahawks- I believe you’re refering to Shawn Johnson. She was like 4’8’’ and 16 years old during the olympics, but I read an article on the US Olypmic team facebook page that she grew like 6 inches within the past year.</p>

<p>^ No kidding. Excessive rigorous gymnastics practice since they were three or four can stunt growth.</p>
<p>I have friends who did gymnastics then quit, they are ‘fun-sized’ (like me, lol) but they grew a lot since they quit.</p>
<p>^ Oh. Those Chinese gymnasts were like 11 years old anyways. They were like 4’2’’ and looked like they had just lost their 2 front teeth. Of course the Chinese olympic committe’s official stance was that they were 17 (yeah right), but there’s no way to prove that they were underage (you had to be at least 16 to compete) because the Chinese government can easily create some fake birth certificate.</p>
