Anyone here know? I just recently got a published paper in psychology and I assisted a world-renowned professor in another. I'm currently working for him too, and I absolutely love the subject, so I really want to pursue it.

I also want to pursue business of some kind. Both my parents are in that field and international business, specifically, seems so fascinating.

I wonder if there's a profession which combines the two...lol, international psychology?

I think I've moved on to wanting to be a foreign service officer (maybe even one day an ambassador?), or perhaps go into international law, though I doubt I have the presence to be a courtroom-attorney. Being something like a "legal consultant" would be more my style.

Um, I'd like to work for an international organization, our government or another government. Or working for an NGO. Preferably, Economics/(Public or Non-Profit) Management is what I'd like to do. It really throws off people. A lot.

Them: "What!? But, you'd become the CEO in probably, what, five years if you went into business. WHY NOT!?"

I don't think imposing your ideals of what you think someone should be on that person is nice. My parents told me from when I was a kid, I could be anything I want. And they were never going to talk me out of it. Ever. And they've just been really encouraging. Other than my idea to go to art school.... But, otherwise, incredibly encouraging about anything. As long as I have a future, regardless of what it's in, it's all good.

IT Consulting/Analysis. Pretty much what I do right now but with a business education -- read: more money. But I don't care. If computers dissolve and programmers will be useless, I'll have just as much fun driving a truck. Or doing a stand-up comedy.

Surgery, I can't really imagine myself doing anything else. Except maybe lazing around for the rest of my life, no... that wouldn't be quite as fulfilling. I'll have all of eternity to sleep after I die.

I'm playing with the idea of being a vet--maybe a large-animal vet, since everyone seems to want to deal with the cute widdle puppies and kittens. I haven't had the opportunity to work with a large-animal practitioner, though; all my experience has been with small-animal clinics.

I'm not rock-certain about anything, though.
