Hi, I was wondering under which category my research class I’ve taken all 4 years of high school would go under? I currently have it as a “interdisciplinary” elective, but I am not sure if another category would be better suited.

If your research class is listed under one of the A-G categories then list it that way on your application. If it is not listed in the above link then list it in the Activities section as “extra coursework.”

Does that fact automatically make my research class part of extra coursework?
Yes, I believe it would be considered “extra coursework.” On the positive side, the extra coursework section gives you space to write more about your research, what you learned and how it influenced what you want to study in college or a possible career path.
