"If any part of your education prior to secondary school has taken place outside..."

Well, I went to schools in a different country for elementary school... do I really need to list those schools? I went to four different elementary schools outside of US... it's kinda hard to remember the duration of my stay since there aren't official documents with me... and it's elementary school...

I think “secondary school” refers only to middle and high school, so it’s fine not to list the elementary schools.

Edit: Yep. [Secondary education in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Secondary education in the United States - Wikipedia)

but it says “prior” to secondary school…

:/ Assuming almafuerte is correct, I misinterpreted that because I put in that I was out of the US for 4th grade. (also for 1st and kindergarden, but I felt that was too far back)

Assumin xrCalico23* I mean. Now that I think about it, t’s logical that colleges would only want to know about middle/high schools.

so should i put the different elementary schools i’ve went to? b/c i went to middle school and HS in the US but not elem. school

why is it necessary to list all the schools PRIOR to 2ndary school?

I listed elementary schools - I thought that secondary school was middle/high school, so logically the school before that is elementary school, right? Now I’m confused…

why do they need to know elementary schools though? I don’t remember how long i stayed in each of the four elem schools i’ve been to =[

Maybe you could call the admissions office tomorrow during their office hours? It’s a valid question.

Your secondary schools are listed on the CommonApp, no? So this is info they don’t otherwise have
