If I can recommend a laptop accessory...

Someone told me to get a stand (example link below) for my laptop (Sony VAIO) and I definitely did not want to. After spilling a TINY bit of coke on my laptop (which is DETRIMENTAL, let me tell you!), I caved in and am currently just using a separate keyboard that I can spill on. But yeah, I love my laptop stand. It's kind of funky looking, but it provides cooling, extra USB hubs, and the best part -- better posture. I only used my laptop for like a week before getting the stand and already my posture was bad -- back/neck strain. So, yes. I really recommend the stand to anyone slightly clumsy and/or already slouching. =)

Just an example, hope it's okay to link to this site: <a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=6914208&type=product&productCategoryId=cat08006&id=1097580086862%5B/url%5D">http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=6914208&type=product&productCategoryId=cat08006&id=1097580086862</a></p>

realizes he is slouching while browsing the forum on his laptop

Hmm, maybe that is a good idea, hah!

are u supposed to type with that thing

thats actually pretty cool if u use a seperate key board. its like a monitor with a built in computer

Yeah you have to use a separate keyboard with it, protecting your laptops keyboard. And then of course you just take it off the stand when you go use it at the library or wherever.

too pricey for me.
