If I pay the housing deposit and the tuition deposit but later decide I don't want to go there, can I withdraw my acceptance?

the housing deposit is refundable before school starts, but the tuition department (i think) is only refundable til may 1st...

hmmm...yeah, that's what worries me...the housing deposit...

housing at UB is not guaranteed (in fact in recent years it's been far less than guaranteed). I do live in the area, so I could live at home, but just the thought of that makes my stomach hurt.

I'd say if you're really considering the school (and can get your money back + can afford the money up front) i'd say go for it, put the money down (especially since I believe you said you're honors college...with the whole priority housing thing).

Housing is guaranteed for freshmen unless you don't submit your stuff on time. In the past there were accomodations for over-booking in which case the university paid for students' stays and rides at nearby motels. The housing deposit is non-refundable, the tuition deposit is until a certain date. Housing deposits are never refundable at Buffalo.
