will I receive any grants, financial aid, or anything valuable by filling out a FAFSA? Please respond and help me! I'm so confused :<

you will only recieve financial aid if the cost of attendance at your school is over $50,000...and then it will probably just be a loan.

however -- the FAFSA is sometimes required by a school for merit awards and some schools have small subsidized loans and work-study available, not matter how high your EFC is.

If it isn't the biggest hassle in the world, it is probably worth at least filling it out. If you have the tax figures, it shouldn't take too long and it is free.

Some schools do not consider you for scholarships unless you do the fafsa.

you wont get any need based grants or anything like that but for stellar students they need fafsa but can still give out money.
