<p>I’m a freshman applicant. Final grades for the first semester at my high school are not finalized yet, but based on my own estimations, my AP Calculus AB grade will drop from an A- to a B, which will thus cause my GPA to go from a 4.4ish to a 4.1.</p>
<p>Since this is still good academic progress, do I need to notify the UC system of this decline or is that unnecessary? I don’t know if I’m being paranoid, but that’s a significant drop and I don’t want a UC campus to be inquiring, “What happened to this grade and why didn’t you tell us” AFTER I’ve already submitted my SIR in the late spring.</p>
