If someone asked you what you got on your SAT, what would you say?

Depends on who asked. :P

would you tell them your superscore? or your best score in one sitting?

I don't know why, but it seems like a good score in one sitting is more worth telling

I just say that I did well (2400). I think it's up to the person. I have a policy of not sharing grades or test scores with people I know (pretty competitive school), so I'm pretty broad: "Oh, that assignment wasn't my best" or "I did well on the test." No one has pushed me further, and I think that it works out for the best for everyone.

^ smart guy or girl

if I don't like the person, "I don't want to discuss it"
If I'm neutral to person, "good" "fine" "I'm happy" "I could have done better" etc
If I like the person, the truth, but I don't flaunt it or bring it up in convo.

600.......

"a score" lol but to my closer friends, i tell them

I'd say, "2340, now, would you like me to tutor you for $20/hr?"

Since it's none of their business, I'd say "2400. You?"

"ARGH, 2190. I'm so ****ed."

"I did well"

I did well. If they press, I'll tell them the number. I usually have to tell them the number, which I hate doing, because of their reactions.

"2260 as a sophomore"

Well, since I only took it once, my super-score is my best score in one sitting. I'd tell my friends if they asked; however, if a person I don't know inquires, I'd give a non-committal answer such as "alright."

i dont think you should tell people your superscore. thats like 'cheating' because 1. not all schools 'superscore' 2. the person you're telling it to doesn't know you're superscoring.

only a few people know my score. i usually just say 'oh, i did okay.' cos at my school, around 2000 is good.

I just say I did well, even to my friends. I feel so awkward when people make a huge deal out of my scores...

I'll just say " alright "... lol only my relatives know my SAT score... i don't like sharing my score with students in my school... lol

hehe, i'd say "very bad but I will beat you up the next time". :))

I would say "Why? Worried that I'll beat ya?"

"Good enough."
