If Tufts Syndrome doesn't exist...

<p>Sorry to be redundant cause I posted similarly, elsewhere, but my son was more excited by Tufts than anywhere else and really built a case about how both the school and he were a singular match. Clearly, Tufts had the sensitivity to know that this very high data kid with memorable ECs and a heart as big as the Atlantic would be a great fit because they accepted him, along with Penn, Brown, Pomona, and some other well-regarded schools.</p>

<p>They felt the love from my kid while another high data kid, looking maybe for another notch on his/her acceptance post, didn’t communicate the level of commitment to Tufts or even a compelling “Why Tufts?” that my kid, and others who were accepted, did.</p>

<p>Admissions is an imperfect process but to self-soothe by accusing Tufts of rejecting those who are “too good” applicants, who would be sure to reject Tufts over a “better” offer, is bitter and ridiculous.</p>

<p>For an increasingly large applicant pool, Tufts will do like no other.</p>
