<p>Now that we (or most of us) have sent in the application, lets just devote some time to fantasizing about the first thing that we will do IF we get in. There is nothing we can change now, so lets not worry. Besides, fantasizing won't do any harm. :)</p>
<p>So guys, go ahead! What would be the first thing you'd do if you got in?</p>
<p>Treat myself to ice cream, smile uncontrollably, and proceed to sleep through classes for the rest of the year, dreaming of Stanford. [But not enough for a “noticeable drop” in my grades, mind you.]</p>
<p>call my grandpa and probably start crying tears of joy</p>
<p>Forget about all of that as soon as you realize that Stanford is slavery with a pretty face</p>

<p>Idk what I’ll do. I’ll tell my rents first, for sure. I’d be SOOO super stoked. I would want to update my FB status, but idk if i will. I have a lot of people rooting for me, but then again, dont’ want to seem pompous.</p>
<p>Definitely email grandparents (they live abroad). </p>
<p>Buy something to congratulate myself (i bought myself a DMB and Paramore CD to congratulate myself on the application submission

<p>I’ll run around my house in the December Wisconsin snow in just compression shorts, yelling like a lunatic, waving my letter through the air.</p>

<p>id be in shock. probably wander around for a few moments then post like 3456 obnoxious statuses and call a bunch of people.</p>
<p>Frankly, I don’t know what I am going to do.</p>

<p>Nah, I’m not exactly a very dancey/jumpy type of person either. I’d probably be saying “I got in!” in an excited tone but not to the point where I’d be screaming it lol.</p>
