Let's say you don't get admission in any of the colleges you applied and or something such as financial aid package doesn't work out. Is there a way you can still get admission in decent colleges?You should know latest by 1st week of April whether you are getting admission or not. Can you send in application to state colleges after 1st week of April or it is too late.

There are some colleges who still accept apps then. Google colleges with late admission deadlines.

You can also google colleges with rolling admissions. I know Stetson accepts applications all year.

Late deadline schools:

in May for the Space Availability Survey which shows colleges with space still available.

Good luck!

Or you could take a gap year and apply in the next cycle. You don’t HAVE to go to college right after high school. Some students can greatly benefit from taking a break.

@baktrax very true

Typical options:

Start at community college, then transfer later.

Gap year, usually working (or multiple gap years in enlisted military service).

Look for four year schools with late deadlines or with space available. These are usually less selective ones.
