if you could go to/have gone to any univ for undergrad (non ivy),what is your choice?

Hawaii

…it’s in Hawaii… I can’t believe that didn’t show up on my radar…

Ever hear that story about the guy who sent a picture of himself surfing to his friend- EVERYDAY?

haha, yeah stanford is not a legit response

I went to my dream school, but I’ve always wondered what it would have been like to go to Penn State (my second choice at the time).

I’m a big fan of college football now, plus my sister-in-law went there and I’m a little jealous when I hear her talk about how much fun it was.

alright, i’ll put aside stanford. it was my top non-ivy choice (only second to princeton) but the other one i was shooting for was georgetown. i was waitlisted, though. but yeah, i would’ve liked it a loooot.

Cambridge University and LSE. I’ve alwasy wodnered what British schools are like.

UCLA, UC-Berkeley, or UNC-CH.

I would’ve liked any three of the non-safety non-ivy schools I applied to (MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon), but I wasn’t accepted at those three.

I’ve always loved colleges that can do it all: Great academics with fabulous classmates, fun and varied social life, exciting and nationally relevant athletic life. Throw in some tolerable weather and I’m in heaven.

What colleges have this sublime combination?

Stanford…Duke…Rice…Vanderbilt.

Any of them will do.

Claremont McKenna. Hope I get a scholarship! a high improbability, they only give 5 Frank Seavers =(

Such a hard question!!!

Possibly UC Berkeley… or Duke or Stanford.

USC (Stanford if it’s allowed, obvious choice though hah). I would have applied to these schools, but my parents said strictly east coast. oh wells.

Which non-Ivy? I’d have to say Cornell.

That’s a joke.
Actually it would be Notre Dame, Bowdoin, or Virginia. Then Vanderbilt, Boston College, and UNC.

Private- U Chicago
Public- Berkeley

Probably University of Chicago. It sounds like a great school.

I would love to go to Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering

Duke, Georgetown, Rice, Vanderbilt.

Pomona College

Scratch Notre Dame from post #32. Sacrificing its morals for this weekend’s presidential photo op is disgraceful.

If the Ivies were out, I’d say Oxford or Cambridge ;)

MIT, Stanford, or Williams.
