Is it difficult to get top jobs??? I was thinking about going to the University of South Florida. Anyone know of the schools record for business recruitment?

I had this question too. It seems that the stereotype is that if you go to a "top" school such as Harvard you will automatically be given a better job than if you go to, for example, Berkeley's Haas school of business. Though Haas is probably better than Harvard or Yale, Harvard and Yale have the reputation that employers automatically see. Or so people have been telling me.

The difference in "top" job prospects between Harvard and Haas is much less than the difference between Haas and USF. If we are defining "top" as the upper echelon of selective business jobs that have the highest salaries and best exit opportunities, it is close to impossible to get these jobs coming out of USF.

But what about Harvard and Haas? And are you talking about grad or undergrad?

...I'm talking about undergrad... this is the undergrad business forum.
