^Haha, classic!

We watch movies, but we don’t have any specific traditions (except for the Seinfeld Festivus episode on the 23rd…but nothing specific for Christmas).

OP, I had hot pot too Even though my family celebrates Christmas, just not intensely. We didn’t even really get gifts for each other; I got two books from my parents and money from my relatives.

Get real…Christmas hasn’t been a religious holiday for several years now. It’s American culture now.

My dad’s family is Muslim, mom’s is Jewish. We normally have the whole family over (from my moms side) because no one works and everything is closed. We eat dinner together and catch up. This year we went to Ihop for brunch. We occasionally exchange gifts. This year we did… I got the frappucino maker I’ve been eying. :)

I disagree. It’s definitely cultural and religious, but it still has religious elements for quite a few people, and others don’t feel comfortable celebrating for whatever reason. It’s not an American holiday in the sense that the 4th of July is a part of our culture.

C’mon…Christmas has become as widely celebrated as Independence Day has. Yes, some people do keep the religious element, but for a LARGE majority of the country, Christmas is a time of the year all about giving/receiving presents, spending time with friends and family, and getting caught up in the spirit.

How was the drummer boy invented anyways? Did someone say “God being born is cool, but you know how it could be cooler? WITH DRUMS!!!”
Oh, and what kind of a drum goes “Rum pum pum pum”? That sounds like a trumpet.

My family usually volunteers at Union Station except for my dad who works on Christmas. Other than that it is a completely normal day for my family and I. We do not celebrate any form of Christmas for religious reasons.

I did absolutely nothing.
