If you don't chance me 100 fluffy kittens will die, you don't hate kittens, do you?

I got a full ride at Truman State University (my back up)

Recs and Essays are good, but then who would think their's is bad?

So I'm applying to
Middlebury College (ED)
Grinnell College
MacAlester College
Carleton College
Denison University
Beloit College
Washington University in Saint Louis (University Scholars in Medicine)

I'm applying to Beloit too! (Actually I already did EA). Anyway:

Safeties: Beloit, Denison
High Match: Middlebury (it would be a reach if you weren't ED)
Reaches: Wash U, Carleton, Grinnell, MacAlester

That's just my opinion, though, and I'm just a HS student. I think it's nice how you have a lot of reaches because it raises the chances you'll get into somewhere you really like. You should probably find a safer match, though, if you're not crazy about Beloit or Denison (those two are WAY below you).

I'd suggest Kenyon (though I probably shouldn't since I'm applying there). It has an average ACT of 30 (from my HS at least) and the small classes and liberal arts focus it looks like you're after. Unfortunately it is in the middle of nowhere, and the supplement it requires is ridiculous.

Again, do not take my opinion too seriously. I'm just saying most of these places are reaches because your GPA is kind of low for top LACs.

Middlebury College (ED): Deferred
Grinnell College – 75/25
MacAlester College –75/25
Carleton College–50/50
Denison University – A
Beloit College –A
Washington University in Saint Louis (University Scholars in Medicine): Rejected for U. Scholars, 50/50 for Wash U.

Do you think that Middlebury will accept or reject me if they defer me?

and what do the asterisks mean?

bump . . . ..................................

Gotta love the South, with their 5 month marching band seasons.

WashU is a reach... I think you can get into Grinnell. GPA hurts.

I don't have any idea about your chances.. But I love fluffy kittens.. they are so adorable!!!!!!

i hate kittens. i don't mind them dying. but id chance you except....idk anything baout those colleges
